Terminator 3 Toys
The Terminator came back to the big screen in 2003 with the exciting release of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. Future California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger reprised his role as the unstoppable robotic warrior from the future. Under the direction of Jonathan Mostow, the third installment in the series was an unprecedented blockbuster and a new high water mark in the art of special effects.
Toy makers rose to the challenge once again as well and crafted some toys that were epic enough to live up to the Terminator legacy. These were highly stylized highly detailed action figures and sculptures which represented some of the most talented toy making artistry the toy industry had ever seen.
These figures are sculpted to exacting specifications an they're incredibly life like scale models of all your favorite characters from the film. Look at a figure of the fearsome T-X Terminatrix (played by Kristanna Loken) . She wields a handgun above her head and looks over her shoulder in a pose of intrigue and danger.
You'll swear you can almost see the figure breathing, that's how lifelike it is. And looking at several of the figures manufactured for the T-850 (portrayed by Schwarzenegger) you have to a double take because you'll be having an is it real or is it Memorex moment.
